Design
I will work with you to come up with a design that works for you and your site. All projects start with a site visit to your house where we will go over your goals and walk the site.
Site Analysis
The first step in the design process is to look at your site and catalogue all the major features including soil type, sunlight, drainage, property setbacks and more. This will give us a clear idea of what our opportunities and constrains are.
Preliminary Design
Collaborating with you, I will come up with initial designs. These will be based on the site analysis as well as my conversations with you and any reference images you have.
Final Plan and Renderings
After reviewing the preliminary design options you can pick whichever best meets your vision or select elements from all three to come up with a final design.
Craft
Whether I am maintaining a garden I have designed or coming into your existing space we treat each site with care and detail. I prioritize ecological maintenance regimes that are based on scientific research and field observation. Our aim is to create landscapes that once established require minimal irrigation and maintenance.

Working on a tight budget or just like doing things yourself? I am happy to come out for a consultation to get you started on your own gardening journey.
Garden Support
Stewarding a garden can be intimidating! I want you to feel supported in your journey to have a beautiful garden. Once you are an established client you can email or text me anytime with a picture of a plant and we will offer advice free of charge.
All our garden designs come with an optional plant manual. The manual covers what we planted and relevant information like when to prune, common pests, and growing information. This is a great option for people who want to take care of their own gardens but need some extra guidance. Think of it as a custom gardening book just for you!
